Laterism is the term used by Ashby Mo to describe the type of work he does whether or not it is a style or movement is yet to be determined. The characteristics of Laterism, Laterist artists or simply Laterists are often very diverse and can specifically be labelled abstract, expressionistic and sometimes even surrealist in its compositions. He often uses discarded metals and obsolete technology in his work to document his own version of the fourth industrial revolution these compositions of mixed media, which he often refers to as combines, are meant to show the confliction between the metaphysical, the material, the spiritual and the psychological.
