ABOUT THE ARTIST
Martyn John Schickerling born 1985 received his fine arts diploma from TUT in 2010 worked for well know South African sculptor Angus Taylor at his foundry Dionysus Sculpture Works where he is a foundry man and sculptor’s assistant. He specialises in welding, quality control and modelling as part of his job description at DSW. He is also a bronze and stainless steel sculptor and mixed medium artist with pen and ink, acrylic and oil being his preferred mediums. Currently working for Guy du Toit.
