Madikotsi “Mummy” Khumalo, born in Sebokeng, draws inspiration from the strength of women, influenced by her upbringing. She studied entrepreneurship at Vaal University of Technology before honing her printmaking skills at Artist Proof Studio. A part-time docent at Wits Art Museum, she is also exploring animation at Tshimologo Technology Center. Khumalo has exhibited widely, including the 2019 Johannesburg Art Fair and the `Resist` exhibition at Strauss & Co. Her work continues to be showcased in group exhibitions across Johannesburg and Cape Town.
